I have been strangely silent the last few weeks. Short update:
1. Half-marathon in Moab. Carried 30 extra junks in my trunks.
2. Is anyone missing a comb? Or a rake? Why did you stick it in my shoulder?
3. Loyal reader Kent requested surgery pics.
(Not pictured): Staying in bed for 48 hours straight with a bottle of Vicodin and a bottle of Ambien. Surprisingly, not the first weekend that has happened.
Karl, I didn't even know you had surgery this weekend. I can't believe you ran a half marathon before surgery! When does your doctor expect you to recover fully?
ReplyDeleteKarl, I was thinking about you and your surgery. How is everything now? I hope you recover fast. It's amazing you did do the marathon. When's the next one, btw?
ReplyDeleteTake care!
i've been waiting for another post.
ReplyDeletemaybe i'll have one for you soon.
happy healing.
thanks for the pics karl. but seriously, whats with the comb? is this really advancements in medicine?
ReplyDeleteKent, how can you complain about the medical profession when the legal profession--represented by your commen--cannot even manage subject-verb agreement? (Special points for recognizing ironic split infinitive in my critique of Kent's comment).
ReplyDeleteouch - hope you feel better - although sounds like during your 48 hours of med mixing you were.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything recovers soon. I need another run to train for.
ReplyDeleteOK, I just have to say that I was totally cracking up at the 30 extra junks in your trunk. Perhaps that doesn't mean the same thing where you live as it does where I live. Hopefully, you didn't mean what it sounded like you meant (even more ironic dangling modifier).
ReplyDeletehope you get feeling better... aunt julie asked me today how your surgey went, i felt like a horrible sister, i didn't even know you already had your surgey.
ReplyDeleteErika, if Karl has had this doctor for awhile, the doctor KNOWS that Karl does things like bike ride and kayaking (in the ocean)so she probably has no big illusions on his speedy recovery.
ReplyDeletenice sx pics. i hope you are doing better. you look good in your marathon pic. i don't know if i could ever run a marathon but i'd want to do it with you. :)
