I have decided to quit my job and move to Scandinavia.
I will spend most of my time swimming in fjords.
I will be able to embrace my love of plaid.
My long lost love will be there.
We will listen to the Cardigans...
Doesn't the whole peninsula just look inviting?
I'm telling you... blondes, plaids, cold snowy winters, ice cold showers, outdated music. It sounds a lot like Maine
ReplyDeleteSo come already. We just went swimming in a mercifully unfrozen lake here yesterday. Sweden is the only place where I will do that sort of thing. (Better luck next time, Norway.) Currently the 80's are back in style, so it is almost literally 1985 around here. Think plaid, hot pink, tights, and leg warmers. And the girls are wearing 80's stuff too.
ReplyDelete80s rock. and so do blonde babes. you forgot about the saunas. i know those are really big in finland. they would have to be in norway and sweeden as well then too, right? arent they all just pretty much the same country? (yeah for american ignorance)
ReplyDeletei would summer in sweden if i had teh economic means.
ReplyDeleteso instead i will just aspire to be more like my scandinavian roots
I am in love with leg warmers, I think Sweden is my spiritual (fashion) home.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you should listen to Kings of Convenience and Royksopp if you are going for that Scandanavian sound.
