Time for a break

Come down out of the library and get a break from my computer and writing and caffeine free diet pepsi by sitting on a cold bench, blogging, and drinking diet coke.  The more things stay the same, the more they stay the same.  I think that quote must be screwed up somewhere.

Also, I don't know if you guys are current on the 16th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style (which is completely thrown out in writing this blog):

Names ending with an “eez” sound
Names like Xerxes or Euripides now form the possessive in the usual way—with an apostrophe s. (When these forms are spoken, however, the additional s is generally not pronounced.) 7.18

So I guess we now write Jesus's instead of Jesus'. Seems like an awfully cheeky thing for a language to do--making Jesus possessive. I don't trust those Chicagoans--look what kind of TV they make: http://facesofthelastseasonofoprah.tumblr.com/
