first. congratulations. thats really awesome. im not too surprised because after hanging out with you from time to time i realize that you are smart and cool, and most schools like that. second. i vote for a west coast school because if you go back east ill never see you. of course if you go nor cal ill probably never see you anyways. but i just dont think you can pass up some of those east coast options. those schools are better than all the others and they and all the newspapers they fund will be the first to tell you that. so you will probably go east. i recommend columbia. sure yale is probably better, but youre no good to me at yale. there is a good chance ill go to new york or even boston while you are back east. but new haven? its just not a stop or a destination im willing to make. so, if our relationship is going to survive, which it must, you cant do yale. sorry. i know you understand.
