Glenn Beck

So I was reading on the interwebs this afternoon that, in the UK, Glenn Beck's TV program has run without ads for six consecutive days because all the sponsors are pulling their spots.  There are actually a number of organizations that crusade against him.  He bothers me.  So I joined along and emailed one of his sponsors for his US show, Carbonite.  I love their product--I always dread losing my data, and $50 a year for unlimited online backup seems like a steal.  If you sign up, let me give you a reference, because I get money for it or something.

My email:
Subject: drop beck
Message: that guy is crazy, but I like your product.  kk.
Their email back:
Hello Karl and thank you for your e-mail.
David Friend, our CEO, has asked me to assist you.

We appreciate your feedback. Carbonite advertises on numerous shows that represent diverse views on any and every subject. As such, we do not endorse the opinions or views of any particular advertiser. We hope you appreciate our approach to this complex issue.

Sincerely,
Lynne

Whatever. Don't advertise with crazies. It hurts even more that he is Mormon. Worst PR ever.
